さて、今回のプレイ日記では日本側プレイヤーで、AI連合国相手にグランドキャンペーンをプレイしていきます。
グランドキャンペーンのゲーム開始日は41年12月7日、ゲーム開始と同時に真珠湾攻撃とマラヤとフィリピンでの戦闘が始まり、翌8日から1ターン1日で、行動指示→各種行動フェイズを繰り返していくことになります。
行動フェイズでは、海戦や空戦の簡単なアニメーションが流れるのですが、スクショをとっている余裕がないので、戦闘後に保存される文字のリポートで戦闘結果をお伝えしていきます。

まず真珠湾への航空攻撃かと思いきや予想外の展開、甲標的による雷撃が成功したとの報告がありました。過去2回のテストプレイでは成功しなかったのでフレーバー的な扱いかと思っていたいのですが、戦艦に2回も雷撃を成功させるとは。ただ5隻とも帰還は果たせませんでした。

さて真珠湾攻撃の結果です。実はこのコンバットリポート画面の情報、所謂「戦場の霧」を再現するために正確になっていないとの話があります。ただ過去のプレイ経験からすると、撃沈したと報告が上がってきた艦船については、少なくとも戦艦や空母については、間違っていたことはあまりないように思います。むしろ戦果は過少気味なぐらいで、ここで大破と判定された艦船についても後日沈んでいるような気がします。
なので戦艦4隻撃沈、3隻大破、1隻大火災は概ね信用することにします。少なくとも真珠湾に戦闘可能な戦艦はおそらくいないでしょう。それ以外は軽巡1、駆逐艦2、潜水艦1撃沈、駆逐艦はあらゆる任務に必要なので少しでも削っておきたいところですし、潜水艦は日本側の戦争遂行の大敵（AIは通商破壊はそこまで上手くはないですが）なので美味しいところ。都合3回目の真珠湾は、これまでで最も成功だった気がします。

もう一つ重要な作戦である、マレー沖海戦の結果。午前の航空戦フェイズと午後の航空戦フェイズで都合3回の艦船攻撃が行われましたが、こちらも大戦果。PoWとレパルスを撃沈しました。これでしばらく南方作戦での輸送への脅威はかなり下がりました。
それ以外の開戦初日は主に航空撃滅戦ですが、こちらの方は微妙な戦果。ただこのゲームでは1ターンの航空戦で劇的な結果が出るのは対艦攻撃ぐらいなので、気長に続けていくしかないと思われます。むしろ気になるのは初日の損害ですが、真珠湾で飛行場の機銃掃射を行った戦闘機隊に被害が続出しました。各艦の戦死搭乗員数/出撃前の搭乗員数は以下の表のとおりなのですが、

とかなり極端な結果が出てしまいました。戦闘機搭乗員は本国の錬成部隊から訓練済みの搭乗員を多少は引き抜けるので、赤城と加賀にはそれぞれ6名ずつ補充する予定。どちらにせよ帰投まで時間がかかりますし、当面は敵機動部隊に備えた待機と上陸支援のエアカバー提供ぐらいになるのでそこまで大きな問題ではないはず。次回は当面の作戦をご紹介します。
